Rob
Rob Stuart has been working in the Cedar Shake and Shingle industry since 1983 when he started as a block piler at the age of 18. Since that time, he has worked his way up, and became a ticketed millwright back in 1993. In 2000, Rob joined Kent Gibson at S&K Cedar Products as part owner, and is now responsible for the technical operations of the mill site.
Kent
S&K was established in 1997 by Kent Gibson, and is active as Owner/Operator focusing on Quality Control, Sales, and Mill Management. Kent began his career in the Shake and Shingle industry in 1980 in one of the Fraser Valley’s largest and oldest forest companies. Through learning work procedures for all mill occupations, in 1989. Kent was promoted to Shift Foreman, and by 1990 he became Mill Manager. With Kent’s knowledge and experience he has built S&K Cedar as a company well-known for quality products.
